Overview
The Langtang Valley Trek offers a Himalayan adventure close to Kathmandu. It combines vibrant cultural experiences with stunning natural landscapes. This trek typically lasts ten days, starting from the capital city. Upon reaching Nepal, your first journey will take you from Kathmandu to the picturesque gateway town of Syabrubesi, where majestic peaks and green hillsides greet you with the warm hospitality of the local Tamang, Lama, and Tibetan communities.
The journey begins with a scenic 8-9 hours drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi, the starting point of the trekking trail. From Syabrubesi to Dovan, the trekking trail takes you from the river bank of Langtang River, ascending toward the lush bamboo forest and crossing the landslide area, which is much steeper than other trekking routes. After 2 hours of hike, a warm welcome by Rimche village, where most of the trekkers stay at Lama Hotel, which serves the best hospitality.
